The story of Sanyasi Baba Bageshwar Dham

The story of Sanyasi Baba is popular in the minds of people. Bageshwar Sarkar “Dhirendra Krishna Shastri” ji keeps narrating this story from time to time or during his story. According to Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, he has had darshan of Sanyasi Baba many times but he had direct darshan twice in the years 2011 and 2017.

This story is related to the year 2017 when very few devotees used to come to the Dham. Bageshwar Sarkar thought of performing 18 Purana Yagyas in Bageshwar Dham and inviting people from nearby villages. But he did not have the arrangements to perform the yagya, due to which he was very upset. This event was big and according to Guru ji, at that time in 2017, the expenditure was to be 25 lakhs because 40 Brahmins, Yagyacharya from Banaras were to come in it and there was to be a bhandaar for everyone.

The yagya started but Guru ji was worried about the expenses. Eight days of the 9-day period of the yagya had passed and he did not have enough money. Dakshina of four lakhs for the Brahmins and food items for the feast were also to be ordered. After requesting a businessman, ration items were received so that the feast could be held but the worry of the Brahmins’ dakshina was still there. The villagers helped a lot in the event. A day before, Guruji was worried that he had to give dakshina tomorrow and he had 20 thousand rupees in hand. The next day, he had to go to the Brahmins and give them dakshina of four lakhs, if he did not give dakshina, he would be disgraced and disgraced.

Ram Leela was held in the evening. People from the entire village and nearby areas used to come to watch it and used to leave at around 1-1:30 pm. Guru ji was worried about what will happen tomorrow. He was repeatedly meditating on Sanyasi Baba and Balaji with tears in his eyes and it was 2 o’clock in the night. No arrangement for money was made. He went to his hut and repeatedly counted the amount which was 20,000. He was worried about where will he get it from now.

Then Guru ji filled the pot with water and started climbing the stairs of Bageshwar temple with the pot. As soon as he climbed four steps and put his foot on the fifth step, Sanyasi Baba said. Don’t worry, arrangements will be made in the morning. A roar came from the temple with a roar.

Tears started flowing from Guru ji’s eyes. He roared with such a voice that the hair on the body stood up. When Guru ji offered water to Vishwa Bhole Baba Baleshwar Mahadev, Balaji, he saw him there with a spoon and a beautiful red face without hair, no big dreadlocks, a beautiful face, thick wooden sandals, yellow towel and a thick sacred thread and a pistol in his hand. For about 20 minutes, Guru ji did not remember where he was. When he regained consciousness after 20 minutes, his body was completely wet, eyes were red with tears, then he understood that some leela (divine play) had happened. Guru ji bowed down to Balaji and Shankar ji. He went to the place of Sanyasi Baba and bowed down and danced with all his heart for 5 minutes and shouted that today I have become a king, today I have got the darshan of Guru ji and my heart was filled with joy.

He came down from the temple smiling and could not sleep for an hour and a half. That image kept coming again and again, the image of a beautiful face, completely red face, face without beard, thick wooden sandals was not being forgotten. At 4:30 in the morning, Guruji fell asleep and woke up at 9:30 in the morning. At that time, so many vehicles were not stopped so far away, then a new Bolero car came and a person wearing a net shirt and black pants got out of it. Guruji was sitting after bathing and doing the prayers. Guruji was happy with the incident of the night.

Guruji’s seat was arranged, he came and sat down, greeted everyone. There were 400-500 people sitting in front, Guruji was meeting everyone. Everyone was telling their story. That gentleman who had come in a Bolero, wearing very good clothes, also came and sat down.

Guruji asked, tell me brother, where have you come from?

So, he said that we have come from Jhansi to have darshan.

Guruji said – did you get the Prasad.

He said – not now, we will get it later. He gave a bag and said, Guruji, you have blessed me, my brother was in jail and by your grace he was released from jail. I had applied 3 years ago. This is some contribution for the Yagya.

Guruji said – you deposit it in the office.

He said – no, it has to be given to you only.

He gave that bag to Guruji and that gentleman sat in the car and left. Guruji came to the room with that bag, opened that black bag, there was a letter written in red pen on it, on which was written “Jai Siya Ram”. When the notes were counted, four lakhs ninety-eight thousand rupees were in that bag.

Guru ji went to look for him outside the village on his motorcycle but he could not find him. Then he thought that it was connected to the incident of the night. He thanked the Sanyasi Baba in his mind and said that if you come, the work will definitely be done. You had to do a drama to arrange for the Yagya of Shri Hanuman Ji Maharaj. You had to bring money by posing as a person. With the blessings of Sanyasi Baba and Balaji, the Yagya was completed successfully.
